We Day is going to be huge this year.
According to WeDay.com, “We Day is the movement of our time, empowering a generation of young global citizens through an inspirational event and a year-long educational initiative called We Act, which offers curricular resources, campaigns and materials to help turn the day’s inspiration into sustained activation.”
Instead of packing all of the positive energy into one day, We Day will include two events this year.
During the Oct. 2 event in Toronto, Canada, Joe Jonas, Hedley, Big Sean,R5, Lights and Nelly Furtado will take the stage. Then on Oct. 22, Selena Gomez, Shawn Mendes, Debby Ryan and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis will rock out in Vancouver. Orlando Bloom and the cast of ‘Degrassi’ will also be making an appearance at the event–and that’s just to name a few of the awesome speakers set to stop by the fun.
Last year’s performers included Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers, Austin Mahone, and Serena Ryder and the show was hosted by Darren Criss of ‘Glee.’
